Oh so warm and cozy

Outside this winter, the temperatures plummited to 8 degrees. But inside this hot house at Family Farms, the temperture was warm. What provided the heat? A warm pile of decaying organic materials – Compost! Along with other critters like earthworms, Foster Fogarty let nature -- with a little help from the structure -- keep the veggies warm. Now they have grown and are ready for planting.
